District 12 is one of the best areas in Davidson County. The area is in close proximity to downtown and has access to abundant natural resources including Nashville’s Greenway system, Cook Recreation Area, and Long Hunter State Park.
District 12 is the home of two elementary schools, Ruby Major Elementary (located off of John Hagar Road) and Dodson Elementary School (located off of Chandler Road). Both schools are part of the McGavock Cluster.
The Hobson Pike/Granny Wright Lane part of District 12 is zoned for Mt. View Elementary (off of Murfreesboro Pike) and is included in the Antioch Cluster.
